Surf's Up

We woke up early to the sounds of the ocean.  It was so peaceful.  Then Justin got up and made breakfast.  Justin has been a great cook all week.  We've eaten well.

After breakfast, it was time for the final pack up of the trip.  Breaking down camp was bittersweet.  We've had a great time, but Connor especially is ready for his own bed and shower.

After camp was all cleaned up, we headed down to the beach for some fun.

From our camp on the bluff, we take a long staircase down to the beach.  After all those steps at Vernal Falls, our legs are a bit shaky.

But we finally found the part of the trip Tatum will do with zero complaints...  the beach!

We even rented some body boards so the kids could get their surf on.

Tatum hasn't thought of sharks once.  They are having so much fun.

And aside from a little board rash on their stomachs, I think they could do this all day long.  Too bad we only have a couple of hours here.

But we'll make the best of our time on the beach before heading out to our next adventure.
