We got up early-ish this morning and packed up the rest of camp. It wasn't exactly an easy task, but we got out by 9 am. We're now headed to Sequoia National Forest.
The view has not been all that exciting... in fact, it's mostly desert. But we have Redbox and a borrowed DVD player from our cousins, so at least we are entertained.
In Bakersfield, we were in need of a pit stop. Everyone was hungry and needed to stretch. We have a long, winding road ahead. So we stopped at Freddy's for a quick lunch.
Yum! We had never been here before because we are big Culver's fans, but this place was good. The only downside is that it is dang hard to find Coke in California.
So we are off again. We'll check in when we get to camp!
