Lodgepole Campground - Sequoia National Park

So it took us about 2 1/2 hours longer to get to Sequoia than we thought.  The kids were sick of being in the car and started fighting like caged animals.

The road was insanely winding and slow going.  It took us an hour to make it 15 miles.  We could see Moro Rock out in the distance, and Tatum was not happy to learn we would be climbing that the next day.

The ride was pretty torturous, due to construction delays.  Connor even crashed out for a few minutes on Tatum's shoulder.

When we finally made it to our campsite, it was raining, and we had to set up in the rain.  It was the fastest set up we've ever done.

So we have no cell service at our campsite.  We've had to drive up to Wuksachi Lodge to use the WIFI.

We're planning on coming up to Wuksachi for dinner tomorrow, so we'll try to have posts ready then.
