Saying Goodbye to Yosemite

We didn't get to spend quite as much time in Yosemite as we would have liked. We are definitely making plans to come back.  We did get to see Yosemite Falls, which were quite amazing.

They were so breathtaking, they almost didn't seem real.  We had to miss out on Bridalveil Falls because our trailer was just too long for the parking lot.  I was sad.  As we were leaving, we stopped by Tunnel Viewpoint and snapped this panoramic shot.

You just cannot even believe the beauty of the Yosemite Valley.  It leaves you speechless, and pictures just don't do it justice.

We will be back!  We are ending our Yosemite journey with something Tatum's been waiting for all trip--a hotel stay.  We checked into the Yosemite Gateway Inn and immediately located the pool for a quick pre-soak.

Those aren't tan lines--that's dirt!  We were completely filthy.  We haven't been able to shower since leaving Lodgepole on Wednesday.  Baby wipes just didn't cut it!

The kids are completely excited for a night of swimming, pizza, and Sponge Bob.  AND because we don't have to pack up anything, we get to sleep in!  SCORE!
