We Can See the Beach!!!

We made it to the beach.  We were driving down the 101 when we spied the beach out our window.  Detour time!

So we pulled the car over just outside Santa Barbara and ran down to the beach.  It was cold, and it's drizzling a little bit, but it was the beach!  You have to stop at the beach.  The kids climbed around on the rocks, and Rylee was even brave enough to get her feet wet.

Only about an hour left in our drive today, and after stopping at the beach, we all (well, except for Tatum) have a craving for some seafood.
