Our Great Adventure 2014

We're off!  This year's great adventure is under way.  We are excited to visit Zion National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone, and Durango...  with a few extra stops here and there. We headed out to the Grand Canyon for our first stop.

On our way to the Grand Canyon, we stopped to stretch our legs at Lee's Ferry.  Here we are on Navajo Bridge.  At this point, we thought we were about 30 minutes from the Grand Canyon, so we were anxious to be on our way.

As it turns out, we were actually an hour and 30 minutes away!  We finally made it, though, and took a little hike to look out over the North Rim.  It was breathtaking.  We've been to the South Rim, but the North Rim is much more peaceful and quiet.  It was perfect.

This year, we have our brand new pop up camper, which makes camping a whole lot easier and more comfortable.  Here's our beautiful campsite at the North Rim.  We set up camp, made dinner and s'mores, and headed off to bed early.
