Our Disneyland Trip

So we just got back from Disneyland--The Happiest Place on Earth (tm)! It was exhausting- but lots of fun, too. We went with Auntie Jennie, and Uncle Tanner & his family. Uncle Carson & his family joined us one day while they were in LA for Owen's heart transplant consultation. Grandpa Todd & Grandma Monica even showed up for a day, too.

The kids got to visit Pirates' Lair (formerly Tom Sawyer's Island) this time, which we have never done in the past. They had a blast exploring the island and finding the "treasure" at the end. It was a lot of fun--but the favorite ride was, of course, Big Thunder Mountain. Connor, Rylee, & Tatum love that ride, and Tatum could be heard screaming her little lungs out the whole time. She even tried Space Mountain for the first time, and she and Rylee loved that one, too.

This year the kids really got into the pin trading thing. They had purchased lanyards and a couple of commemorative pins on our last trip, but they had so much fun this time around trading pins with cast members. It was a fun way to pass the time while waiting in line, and the kids started looking out for certain pins they were collecting. It could very easily become an addiction.

We had a great time. We always have a blast at Disneyland. We can't wait to go back... when's the next trip?
