In what was probably the best night of her life, Rylee got to go to the Phoenix Symphony with her Grandpa Brant last weekend. As a lot of you know, she's been playing the cello for nearly a year now. Grandpa thought it would be a fun idea to take her to Symphony Hall to watch the Phoenix Symphony one evening. Rylee was so excited when he told her he'd bought tickets!
So, of course, she needed a new dress and fancy new shoes. And we spent the day getting her ready. She wanted curly hair, so we had to roll her hair up that afternoon. I used my new Curlformers, which by the way, ROCK! They are way easier than those dumb pink sponge rollers and they make beautiful spiral curls.

And here's the finished result--Rylee and Grandpa all decked out for the symphony. They had 18th row seats, so she got to sit really close. The performance was at 8pm, but she stayed awake through the entire thing. And then she got to spend the night at Grandma & Grandpa's house--with no Connor or Tatum! She said it was the best day ever! Thanks for making her feel so special, Grandpa Brant. She had a wonderful time.

I had a wonderful time as well. People were telling her all night how pretty she looked. Hopefully it is the first of many such events to come. --Brant
